Terms & Conditions
1. After-care/preparation of skin and hair is the responsibility of the client, although every care will be taken to advise clients on best products and/or treatments. 2. Very thick hair may be subject to a surcharge. 3. Customers living more than ten miles away from Kings Langley will be subject to a fuel surcharge, including consultations. 4. Hairdressing and makeup clients (except in the case of weddings – see 7) must pay no later than at the end of their appointment. Instalment schedules may be available if agreed upon at the time of booking or at least ten working days before an appointment. 5. Payment may be given by cash, BACS/transfer, Pingit, Natwest ‘pay your contacts’, credit card or PayPal. Credit cards or PayPal payments are subject to a 4% fee. 6. The availability of correct change cannot be guaranteed; make sure you have the correct amount when paying with cash. 7. Wedding services must be reserved by a 50% deposit upon completion and agreement of a trial or the client’s request to reserve a date, whichever is sooner. The remaining amount must be paid no less than four weeks before the day of the wedding. 8. Services carried out on the premises of a third party must be secured by payment within seven days of booking, except wedding work (see 7). 9. Hair colours may vary slightly from the respective brand’s colour swatches, depending on each individual, and therefore cannot be guaranteed. 10. Minimum spend of £55 per appointment applies. 11. Due to the nature of travel, arrival times cannot be guaranteed. Please mention when booking if appointments are time sensitive. Every measure is taken to maintain schedules and to notify clients of any changes to schedule. 12. Any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate. 13. All travel and accommodation costs relating to work more than one hours’ drive away, or abroad, is to be booked and paid for by the client in advance of the booking, once travel times and arrangements have been agreed upon. The booking will also need to be secured by the same terms as those laid out in part 8. 14.Some services may be refused if completely against recommendation. 15. Appointments booked outside of standard operating hours (see website) will be subject to an additional 20% charge. 16. Restyle Magic cannot be held responsible for the conduct or results of recommended professionals, although every care is taken to recommend professionals who have either an existing working relationship with this company, or who have an outstanding and highly recommended reputation. 17. Additional accessories such as strip lashes, hair extensions or hair accessories can either be purchased by the client or I can supply them with advanced noticed, charged at cost plus postage and packaging or travel required to obtain them. Any accessories quote or estimate exceeding £20 must be paid for in advance by the client.
